I want to begin with an apology to the few faithful followers who were here before I left. When I stepped away, it was you I thought of most. I needed time—time to breathe, to reflect, and to find the path forward. Writing has always been the core of my soul, though I recognize now that it ultimately belongs to God.

As I return, I am slowly shaping the way this blog will move forward. The format is finally taking form, and I feel a sense of home in the wisdom of the Stoics, whose teachings will appear often here, alongside my love of reading. I now keep a page updated with the books I am reading each day, usually juggling a fiction and a nonfiction title at the same time.

Through this journey, I hope to reconnect with old friends—Dirty Sci-Fi Buddha and anyone else traveling the road toward our shared salvation. Thank you for waiting for me. I’ll see you all again soon, with heart restored and words in hand.
