The great chapter…

Notebook with pen and vintage typewriter on a dark background.

Across the flyover states and 1,445 miles, the trip that has taken a lifetime is finally over. I am here near the sand, and the dreams of her are ever strong. Yet, all else has been given. The location is wonderful. I see the coast every day, and I could not have asked for a better place to stir the words I know I have. My office is one I’ve dreamed of—full of personality and charm—and it looks like my thoughts. Time is finally mine in a way other writers were not given. It would be a grave sin to not use it to the glory of the written word. So, now it’s all on this. Do I have it? I believe I do. I finally see the roadblock, if you might say, and that is my own opinion and very loud voice. It’s time to rest those and let the world speak while I stand and listen. Only then can I give my thoughts to paper and let my soul soar into the rafters of God’s embrace.
